Dr. JoAnn Zinn
Dr. JoAnn Zinn opened Zinn Chiropractic in Takoma Park, Maryland in 1990.
Dr. Zinn obtained her B.S. in Human Kinetics from George Washington University in 1982. After dancing in several modern dance companies in Washington, D.C. she attended and obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1988. After further studies she earned her post graduate Diplomate in Neurology from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1993. She is currently on the staff at Maryland Youth Ballet in Silver Spring, Maryland where she teaches stretch classes.
Dr. Zinn uses her extensive knowledge and experience of biomechanics, neurology and movement to evaluate and treat her patients. She understands intimately the importance of maintaining healthy, painfree, and efficient mobility in order to fully function in and enjoy our daily lives. Dr. Zinn customizes her treatments to fit the needs of each individual.
Stephanie Jones, LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist)
Stephanie is a 1990 graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, D.C. Her body work focus includes Swedish and Deep Tissue, Myofascial release, Prenatal massage and Reiki. She received her Reiki Master certificate in 2003. She has taught Deep Tissue at PMTI and is currently an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Jill Nelson, LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist)
Jill, a recovering computer consultant, is a nationally licensed massage therapist, certified lymphedema therapist and a graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. She is trained in therapeutic massage, lymphatic drainage and complete decongestive therapy. Jill also practices oncololgy massage and hot stone massage.
